Albino Chocolate Crossbelly Silver Arowana (Osteoglossum bicirrhosum)

The Albino Silver Arowana has translucent pink eyes and has very strong yellow and orange coloration making them more attractive and desirable as compared to the normal Silver Arowana. This chocolate crossbelly variant has a dark center to each scale forming a very distinctive uniform pattern or spots. It is a rare occurrence that can only be seen when the fish older in age. As with majority of Silver arowanas, as they get older, it is typical that they can develop a downward looking eye. The Silver Arowana or Osteoglossum bicirrhosum is part of the Osteoglossidae family. This is by far the most popular Arowana species in the fish keeping hobby.
