Red Fin Torpedo Barb (Acrossocheilus fasciatus)

This amazing fish is rarley seen in the hobby. The adult colors in the scales are golden with black horizontal bar and bright red fins. The start with a juvenile color of gold and black stripe then change with age. This impressive fish is a species of cyprinid fish from the Pearl River basin in southern China. This beautiful fish reaches 8 inches in length. It is a peaceful fish that does well when in groups or by itself.
