CUPPING NOTES FROM OUR HEAD ROASTER This washed coffee from the Rwamatamu farm in Kiyube offers a strikingly clean and structured cup, characteristic of high-grown Rwandan coffees. Right away, there's a syrupy sweetness reminiscent of caramel, balanced by a round stone-fruit acidity. More mellow than sharp, with a touch of dried fruit depth like dehydrated peach. As it cools, a soft licorice note emerges. Subtle, herbal, and grounding, adding complexity without overwhelming the cup's clarity.
