Bisci, Verdicchio di Matelica Vigneto "Fogliano", 2018, 750ml

Description This small production wine from Bischi is made using 100% organically cultivated Verdicchio entirely from the four hectare Fogliano cru vineyard, which was planted in 1978. It's 300-350 meters above sea level and has calcareous clay soils, giving the wine intense minerality and plenty of aromatics. The wine is fermented in glass-lined cement tank and aged sur lie for 15 months, and refined 3 months in bottle before release. It tastes like lemons and melon with a little salt and smells floral and beachy.
