Farmstead Cider - Choke Cherry Cider (750 mL)

Farmstead's Choke Cherry Cider is a special, small-batch release from Farmstead that is the outcome of an experiment in utilizing an intriguing native species - the Choke Cherry. Not your standard cherry cider. Long used by Native American cultures, the choke cherry bush is a fairly ubiquitous plant found throughout the American west. It's fruit are small and nearly 70% seed pit. This makes it difficult and time consuming to get the yields to craft a cider, but for Farmstead's undaunted cider makers this posed little challenge. Now after sufficient aging has occurred, this delicious unique violet nectar is ready to be enjoyed! Naturally fermented in oak with locally foraged crabapples. Aged on the lees before bottling. No added sulfites.  Tasting Notes: Gorgeous blush color. Semi-dry.
