The Original Pride Flag featured 8 stripes, as opposed to the well-known 6-stripe Rainbow Pride Flag. Gilbert Baker’s Historic Rainbow Flag included Hot Pink and Turquoise stripes. Due to manufacturing issues, the two stripes were left off the flag and it evolved into the 6-stripe Pride Flag commonly seen. This is our tribute to Gilbert Baker and his historic legacy - recreating his original design.
