Le Clos du Caillou Chateauneuf du Pape Le Caillou 2018/2020 750ml

Produced from grapes from fifty-year-old vines and located on sandy soils and sub-soils rich in red clay, this Chateauneuf du Pape is the main wine of the domaine, obtained by maceration that extends up to four weeks at a controlled temperature. This wine has a superb red Amarante color with red Falun reflections. We found on the nose, Aleppo pine aromas associated with black plum. The mouth exposes a beautiful freshness and sucrosity on aromas of red fruit sabayon, blackcurrant cream and raspberry cream. The finish is marked by sweet spices of oregano and bay leaf.
