Pazo de Rubianes Albarino 750ml

From Rias Baixas comes this beautiful full Albariño, slightly exotic, aromatic with soft notes of pear, stone fruit and a hint of honey. A real winner!Albariño is the grape of Rias Baixas in the North West of Spain. The landscape is diverse, from mountain scenery to green oases, many height differences and many microclimates. The wines are authentic and improving in quality.The wine estate of Pazo de Rubianes covers 25 ha, the vineyards are beautifully situated on the south-west and the soil consists of granite with a top layer of sand. The grape vines are mostly planted in Pergola form; this protects the grapes from sun and rain. The harvest is done by hand.The winery works with low yields in order to get more concentration in the wine and although Albariño is often drunk young, this wine has very good aging potential.
