Yzaguirre Vermouth Blanco 1L
TASTING NOTES: Colour: A straw coloured yellow that holds a deep pigmentation that's characteristic of White Vermouths. Aroma: A fuzzy, bubbled scent that arises from the bottle. The springy taste alerts the nose and is reminiscent of aromatic fruits and spring herbs. Taste: This vermouth holds more heavy bite than expected. Spicy herbs and cracked vanilla sink onto the taste buds, prepping the senses for a flavour-heavy Spanish dinner. Chamomile and juniper are some of the more noted sensations. Mixed into the matured, spiced flavour are coriander, orange peel, rhubarb root, cinnamon, cloves, and thyme. Such earthy spices create an elegantly dark flavour palate that would not be expected given the light straw colour of the wine. PRODUCER: Yzaguirre, a vineyard originating from the sun-kissed valleys of Spain. COUNTRY: Spain PRODUCTION DETAILS: Harvested from Macabeu grapes. Vermouth is made, in short, by mixing a wine with a spirit, usually Brandy. It's then infused with various herbs
