Her paintings represent both time and space and the beauty of mysterious images of everyday life. “Even if it’s a place people don’t usually pay attention to,” Nao tells us, “we can still find a trivial scene attractive.” Nao was born and grew up in Fukushima, graduated from architectural design at the University of Tsukuba and is based in Tokyo.
