This weatherproof enclosure for the Eve Door & Window Wireless Contact Sensor will help shield your sensor from rain and snow in an outdoor environment, while also providing a more reliable mounting method than double-sided tape. The cover for the sensor enclosure includes a nitrile gasket to help prevent water from entering the enclosure. Rather than being limited to using the adhesive on the Eve sensor, you can now mount it with the adhesive side facing out, which places the contact area closer to the door frame, making it easier to mount the magnet piece to the door without using (as many) spacers! The enclosure includes mounting screws. If you need to use longer screws, the mounting holes have a 4mm diameter which perfectly fits a #6 wood screw.
