Sassy Bison

I took this photo on my first evening in the park. Hayden Valley is one of the places where you're pretty much guaranteed to see wildlife. This picture was taken in August as the bison were starting to get into their rut season. Many of the males were already acting more aggressive toward each other. This guy just finished forcing another male out of the area and seemed to be feeling pretty good about himself.
