Taper Candle Set

The 10" taper candles come in pairs and are cast in a colonial tin mold with a square-braid cotton wick. The bottoms have some give to allow you to mold them with your thumbs/fingers to a standard taper holder or candelabra. Please expect variation due to the handmade nature of these items. These candles are 100% beeswax. The golden color is naturally derived from unfiltered beeswax and the black beeswax is dyed using a vegetable-based dye that is safe to burn. About the brand: Mithras is a Philadelphia-based chandlery that supports local beekeepers and their hives by using locally-sourced beeswax from family farms whenever possible. Their candles cast a warm golden light and emit a lovely, subtle honey-floral scent of natural beeswax.
