The Imperial Glass Company was founded in Ohio in 1901 and manufactured some of the most beautiful glassware until it closed in 1984. Glassware made by Imperial is highly regarded and very sought after today. These vintage glasses in the Shoji pattern were produced in the late 1960's through mid 1970's. Unique to Imperial, this pattern is embossed and then hand-painted with 22-karat gold, giving the glasses a unique texture. They are lovely to hold and to use and are undoubtedly glamorous.
