Super 8 Pro412XL & Pro617XL
The 412/617XL is a restored and adapted version of the Minolta XL 401 & 601, a Super 8 camera originally produced in the mid-1970s. Properly restored and modified, this camera can perform in today’s Super 8 market just as impressively as it did back then. The Minolta XL 401/601 original features remain outstanding. Classic Super 8 capabilities like electronic single-frame shooting make it ideal for animation, and also support an internal intervalometer for time-lapse photography. In addition to auto exposure, the camera offers full manual exposure control for creative flexibility. The lens features a 4:1 or 6:1 zoom and an intriguing macro function for close-up work. 500 ASA Auto Exposure- Designed Exclusively for Pro8/19 500TWhen Super 8 cameras were new, they left the factories with perfectly calibrated auto exposure systems designed to support Kodachrome 40 ASA and Ektachrome 160 ASA film stock. Today, these stock and these ASA no longer even exist in Super 8 film. Auto expo
