Diego Bermudez & Allan Hartmann - Hachi Parainema - Panama, washed

This special coffee from Project Hachi is a collaboration between Diego Bermudez (Finca El Paraíso, Colombia) and Allan Hartmann (Rocky Mountain Estate, Panama). This is our first parainema variety, and we're loving the big, bold root beer and zippy citrus flavors. Don't miss this ultra-limited release! From Scott: When I helped Diego Bermudez at the Hachi booth at World of Coffee, one of the coffees he brought was this beautiful parainema. The moment I tasted it, I asked if any was available, and said I would take any remaining green. The parainema was incredibly crisp and floral, with clean fruit and an interesting lemongrass aroma. I thought it tasted more like a classic geisha than most current geishas do. After purchasing the coffee, I found out this parainema was one of the coffees disqualified from the Best of Panama competition, supposedly due to its being “infused.” To my understanding, no appropriate tests were done to establish that the coffee was infused, and to my palate,
