Genelec 8040B PM  The Genelec 8040B is a 6.5", 90W LF/90W HF bi-amplified active monitor with proprietary technology including the Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE™), Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW™), and Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS™) auto-shutdown circuitry - Producer Grey finish, magnetically shielded (PM) The 8040B may not be one of Genelec's “Smart” monitors, but it is no less brilliant in its ability to accurately reproduce program material across a wide sweet spot thanks to several proprietary technologies. For that aforementioned wide sweet spot, the controlled dispersion of the Directivity Control Waveguide provides precise on- and off-axis response.
