SLIDES - Isaiah Class 20 (7.1B) Ladder to Heaven Part 1 & 2
Isaiah’s Ladder to Heaven represents seven spiritual levels of humanity that interface with the kingdoms of heaven. Using Isaiah; the apocryphal text Ascension of Isaiah; “Facsimile #2” from the Book of Abraham; Joseph Smith’s “Vision” of the Kingdoms of Heaven (D&C 76); and the promises made to the “overcomers” in John’s letters to the seven churches (Revelation 2–3); an amazing theology of the kingdoms of heaven with a scriptural description of each level is constructed. Highlights include constellations Taurus, Pleiades, Orion, Eridanus, and Auriga as well as a video clip from God’s Prophetic Timepiece. Part 1 identifies Perdition; Babylon; Jacob/Israel; and Zion/Jerusalem. (1:45 min) Part 2 covers the three levels of the Celestial Kingdom: Son/Servant; Seraph; and God.
