Professional Knife Sharpening Kit - 1x30 Belt Assortment & 8" Leather Honing Wheel with Buffing Compound Sharpen Knives like a pro! This is the setup that we use to professionally sharpen knives for hundreds of paying customers. You only need a standard 1x30 Belt Sander and a 6" Bench Grinder to get started! We recommend starting the Sharpening Process using a 120 or 220 grit Silicon Carbide sanding belt. This is followed by either a 400 grit or 800 grit belt, used to Weaken the Burr and smoothe out the edge. Our Professional Knife Sharpening Kit comes with (4) 120 Grit, (2) 220 Grit, (4) 400 Grit, and (2) 800 Grit Belts. We normally go from 120 to 400 and then finish with our Super Strop Leather Wheel. For knives where very little metal removal is necessary, we recommend going from 220 to 800 grit.  Unlike other Leather Honing Wheels, our wheel is flexible and does not overheat your blades!
