This is the NTP Client version of the LX-5112U that receives time from a remote NTP server via an Ethernet connection. This may require some understanding of IP networking to configure - see user manual for details. It is powered via 48V DC delivered over the Ethernet connection, so you will require the clock to be connected to a PoE capable switch, or use an external 48V PoE adapter (not included) to provide a power source. Description The LX-5112U is a Wall Mount Analog Clock with a 12" viewing diameter. It is designed to operate as an NTP client - taking its time from a remote NTP server via LAN or WAN. Note that this is the only source of time for the clock. It does not have manual time entry, nor an Impulse or Timecode input. The clock is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) at 48V.
