Description The FCC-250B-90-1.5-NFNF is designed to protect 1.45 – 1.6 GHz RF equipment from switching, lightning and electromagnetic pulse threats. It is designed to protect transmitters up to 10 watts of output power. This suppressor is constructed from proven connector, transmission line and gas discharge components. It is capable of dissipating 10,000 ampere transients having an 8 μsecond rise time, and 20 μsecond half amplitude duration. The gas discharge tube can sustain several hundred of these transients if the time period between transients is suffi cient to let the tube cool. It is estimated that the tube will survive transients while dissipating 25,000 amperes. The DC breakdown or slow rising transients clamping voltage is 90 volts.
