Description Model 2517-TE1 was designed to fit 2 5/16" Tie Down Engineering Trailer Couplers. With such a high demand for a way to secure these types of trailers Proven Industries stepped up and developed the only high security lock on the market for this coupler type. This mode was made specifically for Tie Down Engineering couplers with a trigger latch and will work with or without surge brakes. This style coupler is most commonly found on boat trailers but can sometimes be found on other trailers.
