Chef Craft Bamboo Rice Paddle

Chef Craft's Rice Paddle is great for cooking rice on nonstick surfaces and also to make vinegar rice for sushi. It is made out of bamboo, which will make it last longer than wooden or plastic spoons. Bamboo does not soak up water the same way as wood does, allowing it to be resistant to water absorption. Also, bamboo is much friendlier to the environment, because it grows very quickly and cutting it down impacts much less than its slower growing tree counterparts.
