The secondary keypad allows entry codes programmed in the main system to be accessed from a second location, and is typically installed on the inside of a gate operating system. These secondary keypads do not output entry codes in either wiegand or RS-485 format and they do not provide any voice communication. The DKS 1500 keypads provides access control for virtually any application where digital code entry is desired and they are available for stand-alone applications or for connection to an access controller.
