1x6 Walnut S4S

1x6 Walnut S4S boards have an actual size of 3/4"x5-1/2". Surfaced 4 sides (S4S) and double end trimmed with a moulder finish. Our Walnut is graded Select & Better and kiln dried for maximum stability. Walnut glues, stains, and finishes well, (though Walnut is rarely stained). Responds well to steam bending. Heartwood can range from a lighter pale brown to a dark chocolate brown with darker brown streaks. Color can sometimes have a grey, purple, or reddish cast. Sapwood is pale yellow-gray to nearly white. Figured grain patterns such as curl, crotch, and burl are also seen. Also available in other widths and thicknesses for special order. For lineal footage, select 1' from the menu and change quantity to total footage. Example, if you need 300' of random lengths, select 300 of the 1' and we will pull random lengths for you.
