This publication explores Sarah Cain’s work in various media. Cain’s work constantly challenges and expands upon the definition of painting through experiments in site and context. Sarah Cain is the artist’s first monograph, detailing her work from 2002 to 2012. It was published by LAND (Los Angeles Nomadic Division) upon the conclusion of LAND’s multi-site, multi-artist exhibition Nothing Beside Remains in Marfa, TX.  For the exhibition, Cain created a site-specific installation entitled Forget me not for the first floor of the former Masonic Lodge. Sarah Cain includes texts by Andrew Berardini, Sarah Cain, Tara McDowell; Shamim M. Momin, and Franklin Sirmans Sarah Cain: Day after day on this beautiful stage is on view at Henry April 1 - August 27, 2023. Soft Cover, 183 ppExecutive Publisher/Editor: LAND/Shamim M.
