Washed Castillo Arabica

Our workhorse! This amazing variety was developed to be the new great producer in Colombia. It is a crossbreed (NON GMO) of many Arabicas so it highlights all the qualities and resists many diseases that devastated the Colombian coffee production.  Even though this coffee is milled and washed in the traditional way, we have a secret fermentation process before milling and after. This process highlights amazing flavors.  You will find in this coffee amazing aromas like vanilla and caramel and flavors like chocolate, cacao, and turbinado sugar with a prolonged dark caramel taste. This is the workhorse we use for everything. It works beautifully in espressos, Chemex, french press and even cold brew.
