Estate Native American Sterling Silver Turquoise Ring, Size 8 1/2

This piece has been stamped with the initials RC and marked as sterling silver. Collectors may appreciate its "old pawn" appearance, as it has not been cleaned. The artist behind it is Rose Castillo Draper, a Navajo silversmith who began her career in Albuquerque Native American jewelry shops in the 1970s. She is the daughter of Bessie Castillo, a renowned Navajo silversmith from the Torres region of New Mexico. RC is the hallmark used by Rose Castillo before she was married..
