Easter folk art yellow chick on egg on birch base

DESCRIPTION: Easter folk art yellow chick with big glossed up eyes perched onto a painted egg! The egg is wood and painted with daisies and more yellow chicks. The base is birch wood that is two years seasoned. Its also painted with flowers. This piece stands 4.5 inches tall and base is 3.25 wide. Signed original art!  All artwork is original hand painted with layers of paint, sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay and its processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced. All artwork on this site and my Etsy shop are one of a kind pieces.
