Puppeteering Basics

Puppeteering workshops are a fun way to get your group up and moving!  What: In this puppeteering workshop, you'll learn the basics of moving-mouth puppetry. You will be led through skills such as lip sync, eye focus, breathing, posture, movement, and emotion to help make your characters come alive. This workshop is perfect for beginning and early-intermediate puppeteers, librarians, teachers, church groups, therapists, theater groups, or groups who want a refresher on their puppetry skills.  Suitable for Ages: Teens (13-17) Adults Skills Required: holding your arm up for extended periods of time Following instructions Body awareness Isolating hand and body movements Listening; being respectful Base program pricing includes: 2 hours of instruction and workshop time Up to 10 participants Practice eyes to use during the workshop (if virtual, a pdf will be provided prior to the event)  The Details: Non-refundable $75 deposit is required to make reservation Be sure to contact us before making a purchase Extra participants may be added for an additional fee We can come to your location for an additional fee
