Product Info: This dried poblano chile is re-hydrated and pureed in its natural state. This keeps all of the flavor intact. The Ancho is the sweetest and mildest of all dried Mexican chiles and is part of the Holy Trinity. The preservation of flavor was critical to it's formulation. This paste may be used wherever you would normally use any form of the dried pod. It's use would be akin to a base, or as a finishing agent in soups and sauces. It is one of the three chile's used in traditional Mole sauce. Suggested Use: These pastes can be used as step savers for any dish requiring heat and flavor, normally produced by the addition of chile peppers. Add them to sauces or invent your own uses, they can save you time during preparation.
