Forged bronze spring-loaded sash latch & lift; made of high-quality material for durability. This latch combines both a locking mechanism & window lift in one unit. To operate, lift the hook to release from strike & pull up window. To lock in place, simply release the lift & let the spring loaded latch mechanism lock on the strike automatically. The sash lock will fit in with any time period up to the current modern styles. The finish on this item is lacquered and will not patina.
