Averaen’s Pinot Noir is sourced from a mix of volcanic and marine sedimentary sites across seven sub-AVAs. One sip and you can tell it’s classic Willamette. The wine leads with red cherry, pomegranate, and crushed cranberry, laced with orange peel, rose petal, and a subtle spice note from partial whole cluster fermentation. The palate is clean and lithe, with well-placed tannins and a mineral thread that carries through the finish. Light on its feet but not lacking depth, this is a strong showing from one of the Willamette Valley’s most consistent producers—and an easy choice for everyday Pinot with a sense of identity.
