Elmer's Washable School Glue, is highly recommended by Sharon for every basting need. It heat sets well and washes out beautifully. It is generally used with our MicroFine Glue Tips to create a fine line of glue for many glue basting applications: Applique Piec-lique Bindings Paperless Paper Piecing Foundation Piecing Paper Piecing Choose 4oz or 8oz bottle from the menu on the right. Important Update/Warning: (August 2018) In 2018, I discovered that some of the Elmer's Washable School Glue bottles, that I have been recommending for over 10 years, don't fit with our MicroFine Glue Tips. You can imagine the horror I felt when I figured it out. My only thought was working to figure out a solution to help all of you.Here's the Issue: The diameter of the neck of some Elmer's Washable School Glue bottles is narrower than others. These don't allow the glue tip to tighten - it just spins around and won't catch the threads of the neck. There are other bottles that will work for the glue
