LIZZIE on Stained Glass Sock - Indie-Dyed Yarn
COLORWAYThis colorway was inspired Lizzie from Pride and Prejudice. She is my favorite Jane Austen character, so I worked extra hard to get her colorway just right. She's intelligent, forthright, and kind. There's yellow for her cheerful attitude, mint green for hope, blue for her loyalty to those she loves, lilac for the romance that is hidden from nearly everyone until the very end, and pink for her feminine side. YARN BASEI dyed this colorway on Stained Glass Sock, which is a soft and squishy 2-ply yarn made of 80% superwash merino and 20% nylon. The thing that makes Stained Glass Sock uniquely wonderful is that one ply is made of white wool while the other alternates between black and white, so when I dye the yarn, it looks like leaded stained glass--or in this case the black lines in monarch butterflies' wings. Each 100 gram skein has 400 yards. YARN FACTSLizzie on Stained Glass SockLiterary CollectionBlock Variegated Colorway400 yards / 3.5 oz / 2 plies80% superwash merino / 20%
