NAI YOU TIP (PREORDER)
~20 - 25 lbs Nai You Tip aka "Dwarf Bok Choy Tip", "Nai-You-Miao", "奶油苗" Nai you tip is the baby form of nai you choy. It has stubby curly leaves and pale green stalks. It has a mild flavor similar to chard and is more tender compared to nai you choy. Common application includes stir-fry, braise, soups, and stews. Handling Tip Selection The leaves have a uniform green color with no signs of yellowing or wilting. The stem is firm and moist with no brown spots. Storage Nai you tip should be stored at 34°F - 36°F (1°C - 2°C) with a relative humidity of ninety-five to a hundred percent. The typical shelf life is two to three weeks. Nai you tip is sensitive to ethylene, a naturally occurring gas that regulates ripening. Nai you tip should not be stored with high ethylene-producing products to extend shelf life and avoid yellowing. Nai you tip produces a low level of ethylene. Nai you tip is not sensitive to chilling injury and should be stored as cold as possible without freezing.
