After graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors in Photographic Design, she worked as a graphic artist for Flagpole Magazine and freelanced book, CD, and magazine covers, and all the while created fine art. Along the way, she twice won a Georgia Council for the Arts Individual Artist Grant for mixed media work.She takes inspiration from music, reading, and nature as well as from the talented artist and musician friends that make Athens, Georgia a magical place.
