The 2015 Owl's Rock Vineyard, Cabernet Franc is 100% Cabernet Franc. 100% barrel fermented and 100% Malolactic Fermentation. Aged 26 months in 80% new French Oak. The alcohol content is 14.7% MR. HOEFLIGER’S TASTING NOTES Color: Deep, shiny eggplant with touches of cranberry on the rim On the Nose: Explosion of spices and herbs, such as Tarragon, bay leaf, thyme & rosemary, evolving on fresh blueberries, milk chocolate and black pepper On the Palate: Soft and velvety entrance evolving on a silky and fruity mid-palate, evolving on granular tannins with touches of fresh plums, macerated raspberries, elderberries and dried cranberries
