Flat Edge Joining for Fabric, Lace, and Trim The Baby Lock Edge Joining Foot has a center guide blade that aligns two fabric edges, lace panels, or trim pieces so you can stitch them together with an even zigzag or decorative stitch. The blade keeps both edges butted up evenly, producing a flat join without overlap. This foot also works well for narrow edge stitching along folds and for stitching directly into seam ditches.
