Use before or after whitening.  Now new mint flavor!  How to use:  before whitening: Apply a thing amount to each tooth you are going to place whitening gel on. Let dry, then apply teeth whitening gel directly over. Rinse and spit after whitening session. after whitening: If you chose to use it after whitening, you can apply after whitening gel has been rinsed and removed from mouth. Dry teeth, apply a thin amount to teeth that were just whitened. No need to rinse after sensitive gel has been placed.  Potassium nitrate blocks the pain receptors in the dentin, the layer of tissue beneath the enamel. This prevents the nerve signals from reaching the brain, reducing the sensation of pain.
