Saturday, September 7, 20241pm - 3pm A Quilter’s Lumberyard® is a unique system of scrap management. Use the “lumberyard” approach to cut, organize, and store scraps in four ready-to-sew sizes. Using a “lumberyard” theme, Cheryl and Patty inspire you to look at your scraps differently. During this two-hour journey, generously sprinkled with noteworthy sewing tips, imaginative ideas, and dashes of humor, they will • describe a simple system to organize and store your scraps. • provide dozens of block ideas to demonstrate the four sizes of lumberyard units and the “raw lumber” from which they are cut. • showcase a large gallery of quilts and other projects created within the “lumberyard” framework. • relate how a humble scrap management system can become the foundation for beautiful lumberyard “project” quilts. Bring a notebook and a writing tool.
