You’ll learn basic sewing skills through making simple projects like placemats, napkins, tote bags, and drawstring bags. This class prepares you for more advanced sewing so you can step into one of our beginning quilting or garment sewing classes, or move on to Whatever Happened to Home Ec? (2)Whatever Happened to Home Ec? (2) - In this second Home Ec class you’ll learn how to insert zippers, buttons, and more. Make zippy pouches, envelope pillows, crossback aprons, and more.  Whatever Happened to Home Ec (1) or basic sewing skills is a prerequisite.
