This was the time his wife would call to her lover Loon, because she knew he would be gone for hours. But not this time on this day he was very clever and caught them red handed. In the painting you see Sakiade standing between the shamed lovers. From that day on, Sakiade vowed never to marry again, and became quite the ladies man or The Woman Getter. Malynn A. Wilbur-Foster is a Salish Native American artist who was born, raised and resides in Shelton, WA. She is enrolled in the Squaxin Island tribe and was raised as an enrolled Skokomish tribal member.
