Wood & Granite end table

This end table is made from ebonized African mahogany, held up by opposing supports of virgin long leaf pine. The box is supported by 4 stainless steel bolts surrounded by steel couplings to give it a weightless floating aesthetic. The surface is black granite stones interlaced with fine sanded black grout. The white leather-lined drawer features a custom shaped and welded split steel pull with under mounted invisible soft close slides. The bottom shelf is a single piece of 1/4” thick steel that is fitted into grooves cut into the inside of the legs’ bottoms and finished with a protective metal glaze.
