999-001   Vintage Official First Day of Issue 1976 Bicentennial Two Dollar $2 Bill with 13cent stamp dated in commemoration of Thomas Jefferson's birthdate April 13, 1976 Philadelphia, PA (mounted on 9-1/2" x 6-1/2" backing with historical notations on backside. Bears engraving of Thomas Jefferson from portrait painted by Gilbert Stuart in early 1800s. The note features a rendition of "The Signing of the Declaration of Independence" painted by John Trumbull that now hangs at Yale University.
