Skating Snowden Lake

This is our family, once upon a time. There are sometimes magical moments in winter when the lake freezes in the cold before the snow comes with tympanic booms in the dark night. When this happens, you can skate across an entire lake on clear, smooth ice and you can see the world under the ice - fish swimming and plants waving in the water.
