Early June in Glacier (Original)

This is a Rachael Golden original; 12x18" acrylic on canvas titled: "Early June in Glacier".  The inspiration for this painting is sourced from a mixture of personal memories and some photos from a memorable solo trip through Glacier National Park that ended in a deer suicide and a crumpled rental car with no cell service! Despite the rather treacherous last few hours of the experience, Glacier NP remains one of my favorite national parks. The soft early June greens and vibrant wildflower colors set against the ever present glacial blues capture the magic of Glacier NP.
