Anyone who has navigated the Tokyo metro system can testify to the heavy contrasts experienced there. This piece explores the juxtaposition of crushing amounts of people and the near total silence, the darkness of the tunnels and the vibrance of each stop as well as the general sense of neon energy that is Tokyo.
