Now on sale! Was $25, now only $5! Jean-Pierre Larocque has lived and worked in Montreal as a self-supporting artist for 10 years. From 1990 to 2000 he taught full-time at a number of institutions across North America, including Emily Carr University of Art Design in Vancouver; the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University; the University of Athens in Georgia; the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor; and California State University, Long Beach near Los Angeles. In 2004, Larocque was commissioned to create a large solo exhibition for the reopening of the Gardiner Museum of Ceramics in Toronto. Entitled Jean-Pierre Larocque: Clay Sculpture and Drawings, the exhibition, accompanied by a catalogue, opened in 2006. A film of the project was presented at the International Festival of Films on Art later that year.
