The Vantech H1 H1392 is bolted directly to the factory fixed mounting points on the roof of the Mercedes Metris Van. The maximum load capacity is 500 lbs - evenly distributed. The H1 H1392 Mercedes Metris Van Rack uses 2" x 1" rectangular 14 gauge heavy-duty steel crossbars. The H1 H1392 crossbars are protected using a non-slip plastic bar guard mounted on top of the bars. The mounting uprights are made of 11-gauge steel and galvanized before powder coating. The mounting upright bases are 8" wide and have an overall height of 10.5".
